Charleston has been ever so lovely. We had breakfast at the Lost Dog Cafe, took a walk on Folly Beach, wandered the market downtown, and took a stroll. It was a nice day.
I also just finished two more pages on my thesis. It’s really coming along.
Tomorrow brings a visit to the Angel Oak, either Boone or Drayton Hall, and a myriad of thrift and antique stores.

Seriously? GET OVER IT.
If you think that BioWare’s games are “mediocre” or “a blight on modern gaming” then do not buy them! Don’t play them. No one ever said you have to love every single game ever made!

I got to see my favorite little kids in the entire world.
As soon as I got to there house I gave them the LEGOs I got for them. It was a satellite launch set. We built it and used it with the LEGO space shuttle he has.
Then they started asking me about the different parts of the shuttle (they were especially fascinated by the Canadarm). I asked them if they’d ever watched a shuttle launch...

decided not to do anything productive today.
so i played ME1.
then i played the single player demo.
then i played multiplayer (and sucked at it).
then i messed around on youtube.
then i played more multiplayer (and didn’t suck as much).
now i’m going to watch ferris bueller.
BUT.
one of the previews is for elizabethtown. which is my favorite movie…ever.
now i kinda wanna...

I got a couple more pages done on my thesis. All about the development of the RAND Corporation. Which is actually way more interesting than it sounds.
Then to reward myself, I tried the ME3 MP. It’s fantastic! I’ve never played Halo or Call of Duty online because…I’m just not that good. I’m way less intimidated by ME3 though. I’m not nearly so terrible....

Everyone is going to die and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
#Part of me doesn’t even want the game #because of how it will emotionally mind…

I got the first section of my paper back today (the part that I was sure was the worst thing I had ever written).
Not so much.
My professor said it’s good. It just needs to be organized differently.
What? Yes.
I feel inspired to actually continue writing this thing and pursuing grad school (a goal that is completely tied to how I feel about this paper).

Mass Effect 3.
Get out of my head.
I have things to do. Like write my thesis and geography papers.
Or, you know, finish my TFA resume.
Seriously. That demo was wonderful but it’s making the wait even worse.
It’s like before I knew vaguely what was coming. Now I know exactly what is in store…and it’s killing me that it isn’t here.

I got early access to the Mass Effect 3 demo today!
I won’t spoil anything.
Just going to say that it is FANTASTIC!
I also finished ME2 today. Now I just have to wait.
Or, you know, finish the next part of my thesis and go on vacation.

While registering for the Praxis exams today, I discovered that my university’s testing center is full on that date.
Which means I get to drive eight hours (round trip) to take these tests at MSU. I also had to drive to MSU for my TFA interview. I always, always get lost when on that campus.
I am so disappointed. I was looking forward to driving only five minutes for once.
